History

The practice-oriented retraining program began in 1972 with the company Kleinewefers. In 1992, the company Sulzer joined the collaborative training program. This was followed by a move to Voith-Sulzer (1994) and Voith (1998).

On October 1st, 2015, the MEK GmbH education center took over the areas of collaborative training, retraining, and qualification. We offer our participants a wide range of opportunities in the areas of adult education and vocational training. Our direct links to industry ensure that training at our in-house practice center is oriented to customer needs and market demands. Our participants benefit from the many years of experience of all our staff and lecturers.

The educational center for metalworking and electrical engineering has 20 member of staff and 13 experienced lecturers. We have five halls over an area of 5,300 square meters. The collaborative training, retraining and qualification centers are very practice-oriented. This is first and foremost distinguishing mark of our work. Due to the history of our location, we have been successfully providing adult education since 1972. We have been certified according to AZAV.
